Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Dinner Made Easy application (the "Service"), operated by Raise the Barr Enterprises LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), that you have read and agree to these Terms, and that you have the authority to bind any household or family group you register. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Dinner Made Easy is a family meal planning application that provides AI-assisted meal suggestions, meal ratings, shopping list generation, and related family meal management tools. The Service is provided on a subscription basis following a free trial period.
3. Accounts and Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@dinnermadeeasy.app of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation
- Free trial: new accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment is required during the trial.
- Subscription fee: after the trial, the Service costs $6.99 per month per family account.
- Billing: you will be billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
- Cancellation: you may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
- Price changes: we will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, scrape or redistribute content without permission, upload harmful or offensive content, transmit spam, or reverse engineer the Service.
6. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate meal plans, suggestions, and recommendations. This content is provided for convenience and informational purposes only. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, nutritional accuracy, or suitability of AI-generated suggestions for any particular dietary need, health condition, or food allergy. You are solely responsible for verifying that any meal plan or suggestion is appropriate for your family. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding dietary decisions, especially for individuals with food allergies or medical dietary restrictions.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, meal names, ratings, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models or sell it to third parties.

We are not a licensed nutritionist, dietitian, or healthcare provider. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. You are solely responsible for ensuring meals are prepared safely, ingredients are appropriate for all family members, and dietary restrictions or food allergies are properly accommodated. We are not liable for any illness, injury, allergic reaction, or adverse health outcome related to meals planned or prepared using the Service.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in Illinois. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service following notice constitutes acceptance.
